MAUS (Falkenheim Invest AB, Lidkoping, Sweden) manufactures potassium-aerosol fire suppression for enclosed plant volumes. Units discharge a potassium-based aerosol into a closed space. They do not rely on stored cylinder pressure and are intended to limit collateral contamination of electronics compared with dry chemical. They are sized by cubic metres, not by fire rating on an open floor.

The range covers automatic enclosure units (Stixx PRO), room-scale generators (EGO Blast), handheld first-response tools (Xtin Klein and Grand), and blankets plus a throw grenade. MAUS sits alongside existing plant fire equipment. It is not a replacement for building hydrants, sprinklers, or portable extinguishers.

Applications: electrical cabinets and MCCs; workshops and plant rooms; vehicle engine bays; lithium / battery charging cavities (dimension to manufacturer rules).
